Help us help you faster
When emailing about an app issue, including a few details lets us resolve it much faster:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- The Acier app version (shown in Settings inside the app)
- What you were doing when the issue occurred
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you can capture one
Quick answers
How captures work
A capture is one photo Acier analyzes with AI. Every account starts with 10 free captures, each plan adds a one-time bonus when you buy it, and captures never expire. A room scan uses one capture per photo; a single item in a specialty mode uses one, however many angles you take. If a scan doesn't come back, its captures are returned. Uploading a policy and chatting with the Underwriter Agent cost no captures. Your balance is shown on the Capture screen, and packs of 10 or 25 captures can be bought in the app on any plan.
Billing & subscriptions
All purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Refund requests are also handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring purchases
Signed in on a new iPhone? In Acier, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription follows your Apple account.
Exporting your inventory
Every plan can export. In Settings, tap Export My Data for a PDF report with photos, a CSV spreadsheet, or a full archive of your inventory, photos and 3D room scans. The Coverage tab also exports a briefing you can take to your insurance agent.
Your policy and coverage
On Pro and Pro+, upload your homeowners or renters policy as a PDF from the Coverage tab. You can add more than one policy, open the PDF any time, and correct any value Acier reads. Acier is not an insurer or an agent, and nothing in the app is insurance advice.
Your data & privacy
Your inventory is stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. Acier does not keep a copy on its servers. Settings has an optional Face ID lock. For details, see our Privacy Policy and Security pages.
Deleting your account
In Settings, tap Delete Account & All Data. If you run into trouble, email support and we'll take care of it.
